Listening to song and getting back to the story?

My daughter, who will be three in december, has fallen totally in love with Boowa and Kwala. But I myself find reading the stories madly irritating as she, of course, always want to listen to the songs and when that is done we have to go back to the beginning of the chapter to get to where we were.... Am I being totally stupid in not finding the way back or is there no way back?

I am afraid there is no way back to the same place in the story... We know it is annoying but we haven't found a way to make this possible.
