Bonus points ?

I suggest that the biggest users of UpToTen get bonus points that the parents can swap for goods. Why not a new PC ? Just one at home is not enough ! And it is always the same person who wins at our house (almost). And it is not me :-)))

We would love to be in a position to give away PCs to kids who really love multimedia. Right now, that's not possible. Sorry :o(

Contrary to popular belief, websites do not receive any money from the telecom companies or ISPs when people visit the site.

This has caused severe financial difficulties for many sites - many of which have closed over the last couple of years (inclduing kids' sites belonging to Bayard, Funschool, IYW, Skoodle...)

We love to have kids drop by the site and play. But this is purely because we want to share Boowa & Kwala with as many people as possible. We love them and we believe that kids will love them too, given the chance.

Every visit costs us a little money. The site is financed by the receipts from the toy store (thank you to our clients), plus generous support from Boowa & Kwala's best friend (thanks Philippe). Costs are kept down thanks to a great hosting service (thank you, Racskpace) and, of course, our small but VERY motivated team (thanks Fredéric, Vinay, Widaad, Naresh, Emmanuel, Romain, Pierre, Elodie and Barbera).

What we COULD do is give away screensavers to kids who play a lot on the site. How does that sound? If that is of interest to kids and parents, then we will set that up between now and Christmas.
