Narrated stories

Hi to all the team :)

My grand-daughter is 2 and a half and she can't read. Would it be possible to make narrated versions of "The Ten Pretty Petals", "Around the World" and any future stories (awaited with baited breath !)? With Boowa and Kwala's voices?

My grand-daughter is already quite independent with the games, but I think that a narrated version of the stories of her favorite characters would make her VERY happy (and not just her, I am sure).

Your site is great. Bravo !

A narrated version of

We would love to add more audio to all Boowa and Kwala's adventures. Initially we didn't because we wanted to keep download times to a minimum. With the newer content, we have added more sound as we can make quite small files even with a lot of sound.

With the book of "Around the world", you also get an audio CD with full-length versions of all the songs and the whole story narrated by Tony Robinson (a famous British actor, children's writer and storyteller). You can buy that here (a great gift for Christmas, perhaps).

We are hoping to release narrated versions of the interactive stories (as a downloadable purchase), but we don't know when that will happen (so many things to do and so little time !) If many parents want this option (make your voice heard by replying to this thread), then we could move it up the "to do" list and try to get it done for early 2003.

Right now, we are working on a Boowa and Kwala special with a whole lot of animation and sound. Including lots of vocal interaction between Boowa, Kwala and the child. This will be aimed at smaller kids (under 4 years old). We'll keep you posted on that.

All the best

Great site !

Well done for this site which must require lots of work... Boowa and Kwala are my grandson's friends since he was six month's old... He started out just by watching and today he's nearly three years old and he uses the mouse to surf the site easily. He has fun and learns a lot like the alphabet for example. I really hope that you will make a television series soon. Thanks for what you do. Sue
