An embarrasing question
Hi
I found your site quite by accident... I work in a cyber café and I now show your site to all the kids who come in.
I just signed up one of my nieces. She went through the whole of the Pretty Petals story with Boowa & Kwala... Right at the end she asked me why Boowa and Kwala are not very warmly dressed in the Land of the Jolly Snowman, whereas in chapter 7 with the Big Green Monster, they are dressed up warmly, even though it isn't snowing.
I didn't have a satisfactory answer for her.
Perhaps you can help me here ?
Thanks for your great work !

Hi Ayi
I am glad to hear that you like the site and that you are getting the word out ! Thanks.
The question is a very good one. So good, that we felt Boowa should explain :
"Well, in the Land of the Jolly Snowman, it was VERY cold indeed. But we both have thick fur that helped keep us pretty warm.
In the Land of the Big Green Monster it was QUITE cold (but less cold than in the Land of the Jolly Snowman).
The problem we had, was with the rain. I thought it would be a good idea to wear raincoats to keep our fur dry. Wet fur is no good atall for keeping us warm !"
I hope this helps your niece make sense of the story :o)
All the best
